The double room was a nice size and the balcony overlooking the town was wonderful.
The server on the first night was not very friendly, however, everyone else was nice.

The staff was friendly and accommadating. The hotel was comfortable and quiet.
The TV only had 5 channels and even though it advertised CNN, it didn't have it.

The staff members were friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean with all the necessary amenities. Plus, the breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options.

I stayed at the Konigsteiner Hof on 20 Aug 2010, the hotel was very clean and the family which operated it was nice and supportive. They spoke English, enough to understand what I asked for during the stay. It is located in the middle of the small town, located away from everything. I was there waiting for my daughter to complete and sports camp. The room was adequate and brightly decorated, which was nice.
Unfortunately, the hotel was not as close to the US military facilities as I hoped. The wireless internet had poor connection reception and you had to go down to the staff for a new internet code after every 2hrs of use, (as I have college study online and spent most of my time while in the hotel needing internet access) this made it painful. The television had no English speaking stations(suppose to have had CNN,that was the only station that did NOT work). Also, I used the sauna one after for about 45mins and when I checked out my bill included a 5euro(approx 8 dollars) charge for the use. Too much early morning and late night noise due to location. Will not stay there again.

They were expecting me at reception, so I didn't have to introduce myself. The room was very good. They laid on breakfast at 6.30am for me, which was half an hour before their normal starting time.

We stayed here before the service then was much better. Unfortunately our hours did not meet theirs. Dinner service times were too short so, we ended up cutting it short and finding another place more suitable to our schedule. But it was nice and comfortable place.

The room was a good size and the price was a bargain.
The internet was not available sometimes during late hours of the night but otherwise worked very well. I would like to have some English speaking TV stations.

This hotel really impressed me with its attention to detail. The room had an abundance of light, thanks to the many lamps with bright lights. It made reading and working on my computer so easy. The location was perfect, right on the main street in the middle of the small town. It was also conveniently close to the main highway, making it easy to find. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was tasty.
No improvement needed, everything was great.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was helpful to have a fridge in the room. The breakfast was tasty and filling, with the added benefit of fresh cold cuts. The hotel is well-located, only a short drive from the nearby military base, and just off the main highway.
The decor in the rooms was outdated, making it feel like being stuck in a time warp. The noise from other guests and plumbing was very audible, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We spent our Christmas holiday at a cozy hotel near a military base. the furnishings and decor were slightly dated, but very charming. the staff were hospitable, and the breakfast was tasty with fresh cold cuts offered. the location was conveniently reachable off the freeway and the nearby town offered Deutsche Bahn access to nearby towns and cities.
The room lacked soundproofing and the outside light on all night made it difficult to sleep. the noise from the bar and other guests was easily heard.
